Emergency number – PCO

An Operational Command Post called “PCO” is located in exhibitor parking 2 (Porte de l'Esplanade). It combines several emergency services (fire, emergency 100 services, police and civil protection).
Emergency numbers: 112.

If you see someone who is injured, does not feel well or informs you of a problem of this kind, please call the emergency number 112

  1. Provide the following information :

    • Location of the incident (stand, landmarks, etc.).
  2. Answer the following questions :

    • can the person talk to you ?
    • can the person walk ?
  3. Stay with the victim until help arrives

Security

Security will be provided on the fairgrounds 24/24 by a certified security company.

From the saturday before the Fair until the following tuesday at midnight, patrols will be carried out day and night. The security service requests that you do not leave any items of value (laptop, telephone, etc.) during the night.

Police services to be contacted in the event of:

  • Lost children

  • Non-compliance with parking zones

  • Theft, damages, driving accidents, etc.

Missing child

Contact the police services as quickly as possible on 112

  • Give the child’s surname, first name and age;
  • Give a precise description of the child (clothes, features, etc.);
  • State where he or she was last seen.
  • The babies area : can be found alongside the Grand Ring.

Failure to comply with no-parking signs

Parking is not allowed along the accesses, solely to facilitate the arrival and departure of emergency services should this be necessary (disaster, etc.).

  • Give the number of your stand and state what has occurred.

Occupational safety legislation

Exhibitors must comply with all occupational safety legislation in effect.

E.C. compliance of work equipment exhibited and sold on the fairgrounds.

Prescriptions of articles relating to the Royal Decree on the execution of the Directive  of the Council of the European Communities on the harmonisation of Member State legislation on machinery Royal Decree of 05-05-1995 (B.O.J. 31 May 1995 erratum B.O.J. 12 October 1995).

Occupational safety of workers on the Fair’s agricultural, forestry and agri-food sites

    In compliance with the prescriptions of Article 2 Par.1 of the Law of 04-08-1996,    individuals working other than under an employment contract and who render     services under the authority of another person are considered to be workers. For     example: students, temporary workers, seasonal workers and others.
    Law of 04-08-1996 (B.O.J. 18-08-1996).

As a result, all employers hiring workers under an employment contract or otherwise on Libramont agricultural, forestry and agri-foods sites must apply and comply with all relevant legal provisions of the Law of 04-08-1996 and its executory decisions as well as with the regulatory provisions of the General Regulations for Industrial Safety and the decrees of the law of 10-06-1996 still in effect. Likewise, all employers hiring workers under an employment contract or otherwise on Libramont agricultural, forestry and agri-foods sites must apply and comply with all relevant legal provisions found in the general principles of the occupational welfare policy.
